Brittani's Story
If you had told me a few years ago that I'd own multiple Black Russian Terriers, spend my evenings studying pedigrees, and willingly dedicate entire weekends to dog shows, I probably would have laughed.
What started with a chaotic doodle, a season of unexpected challenges, and a simple desire to find the right dog for our family turned into something much bigger than I ever imagined. Somewhere between training sessions, late-night breed research, and falling completely in love with the Black Russian Terrier, Color Splash Kennel was born.

Viktor's Story
Viktor never planned on becoming a dog person.
When Brittani started searching for the right breed, he rejected almost every dog she showed him. Then one search led to another, a dog show turned into a twelve-hour drive, and before long a Black Russian Terrier named Zhanna had become part of the family.
Today, Viktor helps raise Black Russian Terriers in the middle of a busy household filled with children, dogs, and everyday life. His journey from reluctant dog owner to devoted breed enthusiast helped shape the foundation of Color Splash Kennel.

Life here is loud, colorful, occasionally chaotic, and full of dogs, laughter, and people we love.
The arms of our couches collapse on a fairly regular basis.
